It appears that India's flight and travel industry is on the upswing. The Indian Government has been attempting, by making improvements in both accommodations and international travel services, to boost the travel industry while another reason which may explain the boom is that in October, the Commonwealth Games will be hosted by Delhi. Terminal 3 of Delhi's International Airport is also being completed. With an amazing capacity of 37 million passengers per year, the terminal now takes its place as the sixth largest in the world. UK airlines are increasing the number of flights to Delhi with offerings including London Heathrow, Belfast International, and Birmingham,good news for travelers both business and tourist who will enjoy the luxuries of plenty of shops, upgraded lounge areas and shorter queues. Delhi is fast rising to the very top of major travel destinations for world tourists, and travel industry professionals credit it to the major facelift being given by the Indian Government to the city in excited preparation for the upcoming Commonwealth Games. During the Commonwealth Games in October and beyond, as attention focuses more and more on the country of India, tourists and business travellers to Delhi will be offered great deals on airline fares and hotel accommodations.
