Following on from Flybe's announcement of two new routes to Jersey, easyJet have announced two new routes to the Channel Island off the coast of France. The two new routes will be daily services from Liverpool to Jersey and London Luton to Jersey starting on 31st March 2008 and 21st April 2008 respectively. easyjet doesn't at present fly to Jersey but the move into this new market comes with predictions that over 200,000 passengers will use the route in the first 12 months. Jersey is a popular destination and although only a few miles from the french coast, it is part of the British Isles. With generous taxation, numerous banks and businesses are based there.
