Virgin Atlantic unveils online check in incentive

Virgin Atlantic has unveiled a special offer that is expected to increase traffic to its online check-in facilities. Throughout this month, customers who use Virgin's online check-in service for any flight from Manchester Airport, Gatwick Airport and Heathrow Airport will receive a £6 discount voucher to use on purchases from the onboard Retail Therapy shopping line. The Retail Therapy range offers a variety of products at duty-free prices, including cosmetics, gadgets and travel accessories. Customers flying from London Heathrow and Gatwick will also receive vouchers offering discounts at selected airport retailers and on short-term car parking. Virgin Atlantic's sales and marketing director, Paul Dickinson, said: 'We are sure our passengers will enjoy this Easter promotion. 'Not only will their travels be made quicker and easier by checking in online but they can then use their discount vouchers to shop onboard at even better prices than usual. ' Virgin Atlantic offers flights to Johannesburg, Sydney, San Francisco, Tokyo and other destinations from Heathrow, Gatwick and Manchester airports.
