FREE seat sale triggers record bookings for Ryanair

To celebrate hitting a milestone of having carried more than 150 million passengers to and from the UK, Ryanair are offering 250,000 FREE seats for travel across Europe in September and October. Historically FREE has normally meant that there are some hidden costs, but in this instance, its free! The sale started on 11th July 2007 with a huge uptake with the Ryanair website taking over 20,000 booking per hour - or over 5 per second. This is double its normal rate.
