Europe's biggest low fare airline has announced its 27th European base will be in Edinburgh in Scotland. From September, the airline (which has seen staggering growth in the last few years) will base two new aircraft at the airport and will serve over 19 routes across the UK and Europe. Its expected that Ryanair will fly over 1. 2 million people to and from the airport each year - helping to boost the local economy and sustain over 1000 jobs in the region. From September when the new base will start, Ryanair will then provide routes from Edinburgh to the following European destinations. Lodz, Malada, Marseille, Palma, Pisa, Poznan, Shannon, Stockholm, Wroclaw, Krakow, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf, Dublin, Bratislava, Bremen, Bournemouth, Billund, Berlin and Alicante.
