easyjet teams up with Holiday Taxis for airport transfers

Holiday Taxis are teaming up with easyJet to allow passengers to book airport transfers at the time of booking the ticket on the easyJet website. Over 40 million people fly with easyJet each year and Leo Purcell from easyJet said [ quote] "By offering a competitive, easy to book airport transfer service via easyjet. com, we are able to offer increased care and convenience for the 40-million-plus passengers who will travel with us this year. " Holiday Taxis will in 2008 carry over 2 million passengers to and from airports around the UK and it was ambitious growth plans for future years. Russell Parr from Holiday Taxis welcomed the new agreement and said "To be working with easyJet is a huge coup. The deal represents a great fit for both parties as we both have ambitious growth plans in place for 2008 and as the airline adds more routes to its network this year the relationship can only develop further". With holiday makers being carbon concious, and with rising airport parking fees, more passengers are looking for more cost efficient ways of getting to the airport for their holiday or weekend break.
