UK's budget airline easyJet has announced it is to open its 20th base at Lyon's Saint-Exupery airport in France. A EUR600 million investment will be made over a 4 year period with two new Airbus A319 aircraft being based at the airport - which in itself is a EUR80 million investment and will create over 80 jobs for ground crew and pilots and cabin crew. For passengers, five new routes will be available with destinations in Europe and North Africa as well as some domestic destinations within France. With fares starting from EUR31. 50, passengers can fly from: - Lyon to Bordeaux, twice a day from 4th April - Lyon to Lisbon, five times a week from 4th April - Lyon to Venice, seven times a week from 4th April - Lyon to Porto, three times a week from 5th April - Lyon to Toulouse, twice a day from 2nd May - Lyon to Casablanca, five times a week from 2nd May - Lyon to Marrakech, three times a week from 3rd May - Lyton to Biarritz, seven times a week from 7th June. Passengers are able to book flights online with immediate affect on the easyJet website.
