Cheap flight airline, Flybe has cut the number of flights from Norwich to Paris to one a week - as from 28th April. A Saturday direct service will still be in operation, but during the other days of the week, passengers will have to have stop-off at Jersey. The Norwich to Paris route was mainly operated as leisure route rather than a business route - a move that Norwich Airport was keen to alter and try and encourage more business travellers. Richard Jenner from Norwich Airport said [quote] "They have cut it to just one a week, flying direct on Saturdays and during the week serving it is via Jersey. We are disappointed. We had big hopes that Paris would be very successful when they started it, but we understand that it's been mainly set up as a leisure route, so it's not the sort of thing that will be used by business people". Fares for the Norwich to Paris route (including the ones that stop-off on Jersey) start from just
